Do my guests need to make an account?
No. They scan the QR (or open the link), type a first name, and they're in. We store an anonymous browser session ID to keep their uploads tied to them — no email, no password, no tracking pixel.
What happens to the photos after the event?
Albums are kept for 7 days after the event by default, then auto-deleted along with the chat. You get an email on day 6 to extend or download. Extensions start at $5 for 30 days.
Can I keep the album private to invited guests?
Yes — turn on "Verify guests by email" when you create the event. Each guest confirms a magic link or 6-digit code before they can join, so only people you invited can see or add photos.
How do you handle creepy or inappropriate content?
Every upload runs through a content scan before guests see it. Obvious violations are auto-blocked. Anything reported by a guest lands in a moderation queue on your dashboard with a one-tap Remove. Banned participants can't upload again from the same device.
What if more guests show up than I paid for?
We won't lock anyone out at the door. If you exceed your tier we flag it on the dashboard and email you to upgrade after the night. Same per-guest rate, no surprise multipliers.
Can guests download the photos themselves?
Yes. The "Save" tab lets any guest multi-select and download photos to their own camera roll. The full-event ZIP download is host-only.
Do you have an iOS or Android app?
Native iOS and Android apps are on the way. Today Festa runs in any mobile browser, so guests can join in a tap by scanning the QR — and hosts can manage everything from phone or desktop.
Can I use this for a non-wedding event?
Please do. Birthdays, work offsites, baby showers, family reunions, road trips — Festa doesn't care what the occasion is, only that the people are in the same room.
